1958 Gibson Les Paul Special TV model, with TV yellow finish. All original, very clean, with original case. Serial # 8-1463, is in more than excellent condition, it's very rarely when we find a guitar in such fine cosmetic and 100% original condition, with a case to match her glory. The famous 5 latch Les Paul Case.  The guitar is exceptionally clean and has no cracks or other defects, and all parts are original, and I dare to state this is possibly the best we ever came across, particularly beautiful and to the last screw screw original. The only thing that changed are the correct vintage frets, and it's done in the right manour, without hurting the binding. 

All parts, including pots, caps, pickups, all plastics, hardware and electronics, tuners etc. are original. Features include; Solid Honduras Mahogany one piece body, single cutaway, medium size '58 profile 1-piece mahogany neck with bound Brazilian fretboard (with provenance) and 22 frets, 2 original P-90s with excellent output, 3-way toggle-switch, original wrap-around aluminium tailpiece, 2 Tiger Caps and weighing in at only 3,55 Kg, The guitar is great fun to play and comes with that amazing on wood matured tone, that is only found in old '50s Gibson Les Paul, the neck is straight, and the guitar is set up perfectly and plays like butter. The cosmetic condition is really exceptional, all original finish, and very clean, only a few wear marks on the corners and the some Weather Checking, but all in all an amazing collector worth instrument. A few words to the neck profile as it makes this guitar stand out i think. Compared to for instant a 56 or 57, this early '58 has just a bit more meat, a fuller profile that makes this guitar sustain and sing just a bit longer.

Considering only a few hundred of these or maybe even less were ever produced in 1958 before Gibson changed to double cut during the year, this is definitely the most collectible Special with the most sought after neck profile. Given the condition a very rare chance.  With that also very rare original 5 latch case, the case is in good condition, all latches work, some honest wear to the edges.
