Gibson LG-3 1957 – nice sounding vintage Gibson in great condition!
Here’s a particularly open and resonant late 1950’s Gibson LG-3 in really good condition.
It’s really a special guitar and everything one would want from an LG-2 or 3. It’s lightweight and responsive, dynamic and rich, with a lovely focus in the midrange, classic Gibson rounded trebles and a present and clear bass response. It’s certainly a great sounding LG-3. Excellent neck angle, original finish throughout and straight neck with good frets. The nut width is 43 mm.
This guitar is amazing shape for it’s age – it does have normal finish checking and some finish wear from play and use – no cracks or repairs. The guitar comes from the collection of Helmut Grahl, who was a well-known musician, textbook writer and guitar collector/expert.
It comes with the original case.
