Gibson Masterbuilt CL-50 Supreme Brazilian-Tree of life custom shop, Case, EC+/NM
Basically this Masterbuilt Custom shop guitar is a CL50 supreme model but with Lots of Premium Custom options, if you ever played a CL50 supreme you know it's one of the best guitars that ever left the Gibson factory. Unreal tone and presence come standard on a CL50 supreme. Knowing this unique guitar is not "just another CL50 Supreme model" but a unique Brazilian custom, that comes with lots of premium extras like the Tree of life abalone fingerboard inlay, ebony bridge with Leaf inlay, fancy abalone Headstock inlay. Usually these extra quality guitars were often made in conjunction between John Walker and Ren Ferguson. Often John made the guitar and Ren did the inlaywork. This guitar is unique to our knowledge and comes from a Collector who sold us a Master Museum also. It's totally unique and definitely one of the finest sounding and fanciest looking Gibson Acoustics ever in our shop.
Pre-Master Museum, other wise it would probably have qualified for becoming one. This guitar is truly a work of art, With Mastergrade spruce top, quarter-sawn Brazilian rosewood back/sides, mahogany neck, flamed maple bound ebony fingerboard with fancy and very colourful tree of life, Abalone trims the solid Spruce top, and an ornate "Autumn leaf" design is inlaid in the Ebony Bridge and flame maple bound ebony veneered headstock, Abalone also graces the rosette and bridge pins. Advanced Bracing Pattern, and factory-installed transducer pickup with active pre-amp. Gold Grover tuners, 650mm (25 1/2") scale length, 44.5mm(1 23/32") width at the nut Bat-wing tortoise colour pickguard. This is a unique guitar, a tonal explosian once you start strumming it... and to our knowledge only made once. A true collector and superb investment, in collectible - at least excellent+ condition, some weatherchecking especially to the headstock and some angelhair signs of use keep it from being mint. No dings, dongs, scratches, no signs of use and very close to Mint condition. Like the owner stated, kept under the bed most of its life. Includes Original case. Despite the fanciness the CL50 supreme is a unreal tone machine. The guitar is sold in Consignment.
