1960 Gibson Melody Maker 3/4 - Sunburst incl. alligator softcase
3/4 version of the famous first Gibson Melody Maker, last model with the desired Les Paul-style /single cutaway body, before Gibson introduced the later body-style with double-cutaway. Nice medium c-shaped neckprofil, single-cutaway body, big single-coil pickup (they used smaller PUs in later models), the potcode is 134.9.50 (50th week of 1959), two golden reflector knobs, lightweight tailpiece. The guitar is all original and in very good condition for its age, no breaks, no repairs, lightweight with only 2,79 Kg and sounds great! Incl. non-original, but period correct alligator-style soft-case.
