Gibson Nick Lucas Special 2007, Pre-owned by collector, Mint condtion. This Gibson Nick Lucas is what you would call a Authentic reproduction of the original, a extreme one-of custom made by legendary master luthier Ren Ferguson himself,  a Guitar with distinctive character, unique features and highest standards materials. Ren Ferguson told us its the first ever 13 fret Gibson made since 1934. Only one of these was ever made to match the 1933 Brazilian-Red Spruce 13 fret Nick Lucas. These originals were made famous by Bob Dylan who played it for many years on stage, but i also remember a picture of Woodie Guthrie playing one of these scarce and famous Guitars. Only some 20 of these originals are known still to exist. The scarcity was caused by the fact that it was made during the Depression era and by far the most expensive flattop Guitar Gibson made back then. That explains also our motivation to have this guitar rebuild by Gibson\'s Best, Legendary luthier mr. Ren Ferguson. This Guitar features the famous 13 fret neck only made in 1933, features Madagascar Rosewood and Adirondack Red spruce, Waverly Tuners, equipped of factory with simple endpin LR baggs the element active piezo pickup, ebony fingerboard, the famous style 1933 inlays and beautiful "Fleur de lis" combined with "the Gibson" headstock inlays. It is the exact reproduction of the 1933 Lucas with the exception of the use of Madagascar rosewood instead of Brazilian rosewood used for back and sides. All of us Gibson afficionados know Gibson stopped using brazilian rosewood from 2004 on.

Ren Ferguson made and signed instruments are highly beloved and used famously by many great players like Bob Dylan and Sheryl Crow. There is good reason why these " Ren Made" guitars are enthusiastically collected since he  became Gibson\'s no.1  master luthier. Every guitar is unique in its league.  This unique guitar is beautifully constructed, superb sounding, and a fantastic playing guitar.
