This is a near MINT vintage 100% original with no breaks 1962 Gibson SG Junior in original polaris white that has the original finish with no touch ups and the orignal gator Gibson soft shell case.
This is one of the rare SG’s from this period with ZERO issues and original custom colour with no touch ups, refin work or overspray anywhere! It is also near mint condition, with just a few minor spots of wear here and there, the worst being along the edge of the fingerbard but nothing serious at all.
There has never been any kind of Maestro, Vibrola or any other tone destroying tailpiece ever fitted to this guitar and there has never been any headstock or neck/body joint repair or any kind of jack area repair. It has a very solid, un-stressed neck joint that is rare to see on these guitars. There is not even any smiley ‘stress cracks’ anywhere too. Case is all original and in half decent shape with all latches working and even an unbroken handle!!
All electrics are original with a great sounding P-90 pickup. Finish is still a lush looking polaris white, mainly unfaded and all hardware is 100% original with no changes ever. Original tuners etc (one shaft is slightly bent). All together a great, straight guitar with lost of life left on frets, plays very well too. Serial number is 52946 and all solder is undisturbed. Weight is a featherweight 2.6Kg
