Early 1968 Gibson SG Melody Maker, burgundy metallic. Made in USA, serial number 740448. This guitar is 100% original, except for one bridge intonation screw. It shows a crazy amount of wear, but it's freshly serviced and has very good frets. It's a rare combination of a custom color and the bigger headstock normally not found on Melody Makers. We suspect that was marked as a factory second due to the Maestro vibrola being mounted slightly slanted (works great!). Late '67 pots codes and '67 serial number range, but we think this left the factory in 1968. Comes with a gigbag. Weighs only 3.1kg.
