Gibson / SG Special / 1967 / Polaris White / Guitar

This is a very cool & quite rare example of Gibson’s SG Special from 1967. Its original Polaris White finish is faded to a nice eggshell color all over. Its got some major flaking of finish inside both cutaway areas yet still has a totally cool vibe. Its 1 piece mahogany body & slim neck feel delicious as she plays great. Its loaded w/2 super powerful Black P-90 pickups that all guitar players need in at least 1 of their arsenal of guitars. Its large factory black pickgard is quite clean. She has her original pots dated to 1967 w/4 cool black chrome capped knobs. Its chrome hardware is slightly pitted a bit as expected. Its Stop Tailpiece & short Maestro Vibrato are nice & clean. It’s still sporting its original 3-in-line factory tuners w/metal buttons. This is a great guitar just in from its last caretaker since 1976 & now available for that guy that wants to enjoy it for the next 54 years ! It’s featherweight w/killer sustain & tone qualities. She’s 100% original & comes in its original black tolex soft case.
