Gibson / SG Standard / 1969 / Cherry / Guitar
1969 Gibson SG Standard - Cherry incl. orig. Gibson square case
1969 Gibson SG Standard all original and in exc.+ condition, some very minor playwear - mostly on the backside of the body but no breaks or cracks. The tuners have been changed once to Grovers, but the orig. Kluson "Double-line" tuners are back on and work fine. The color ist still nice and bright cherry, no visible fading at all! This SG is a very early ´69 Model, propably built in 1968, as all 4x pots are dated 50th week of 68 and it shows all the desirable features from a 1968 model such as a big 1-piece mahagony neck, no volute, no "Made in USA" stamp on back of headstock etc. With only 3,17 Kg a real lightweight, very comfortable and a joy to play. The two orig. Gibson "Pat.-Nr.- Sticker" humbuckers sound great and have outputs of N=7,05K and B=7,17K. Definately one of our best-sounding, late-60s SG we´ve had so far! Comes in its original black Gibson hardshell case w/yellow lining.
