Gibson / SG Standard / 1969 / Cherry Red / Guitar

This is a SUPERB vintage original 1969 Gibson SG Standard in original unfaded cherry red that has the all original hardware and electrics with totally untouched solder joints!
It is in excellent, almost near mint condition, there are a few very minor dings that prevent me from describing it as MINT. Whats even better is there are no breaks or repairs anywhere - solid neck and headstock and no cracks, stress or otherwise anywhere, including the jack area!
There is a small piece of diamond shaped plastic under the end strap button that is attached by the same two pins that Gibson used to fasten their ‘custom made’ plaques on their ES-335’s. Not sure if this was done at the factory but it is very cool and it looks as old as the guitar is. It is not hiding anything and I beleive I have seen it on some Gibson archtops before.
All electrics are original with a great sounding Humbucker pickups. Finish is pretty much unfaded and still lush looking cherry red All hardware is 100% original with no changes ever. Original tuners etc. All together a great, straight guitar with hardly any wear on original frets, plays really well too, in fact one of the nicest SG’s I have played! Weight is a fantastic 3.4Kg. Serial number is 809999, pot codes I can read are 52nd week of 1968 everything is 100% original with undisturbed solder.
Included is a what could be the original hard case - it is a 1970 case and if the guitar hung around for a while in the guitar store it could well have been originally sold with this case.
