Gibson / SG Standard / 1971 / Cherry / Guitar
1971 Gibson SG Standard with no breaks or repairs and in really nice condition with original late 60's hard case? well why not..
This SG, favored by the likes of Angus Young, is everything you want in a classic, early 70’s guitar in stunning condition. It is all correct and there's very little sign that the guitar has been played. The finish has hardly faded as you can see in the pictures and there are very few bumps or knocks
Neck and fretboard are in amazing shape too, the fretboard and frets free of any real wear.
Hardware is sensational showing little or no discoloration. Trem works well and does stay largely in tune and is perfectly usable.
All solder is intact so there has never been any other pickups installed. A pair of killer sounding PAT number stickered pickups top the whole thing off.
The guitar comes with a correct late 60's hardshell case.
Good to see an Angus type SG at this price point with no breaks or repairs and still having original electrics and hardware and correct case. We are sure it will look great slung around the neck of many a lively rock band who strive for that authentic classic rock sound…
Probably one of the nicest we have seen for some time...
