Gibson / Super 400 / 1935 / Sunburst / Guitar
ust arrived, a Majestic 1935 Gibson Super 400 serial #92686, dating back to 1935, the first year of production of these spectacular sounding 17 3/4" Super 400 models. Excellent condition, except for some wear and weatherchecking, no crack or misuse. Featuring impressive Flame Maple back, sides, and neck, Adirondack Spruce top, original "Super 400" brass gold plated tailpiece, original Brazilian Rosewood bridge with pearl triangle inlays, original multiple bound brazilian rosewood fingerboard with w/ pearl block inlays, multiple bound black headstock overlay w/ pearl script "Gibson" and split diamond inlays, Original Super 400 truss rod cover, 628mm (24 3/4") scale, 45mm (1 3/4") nut width, Multiple bound body and F-holes, "Super 400" insription on heelcap, Ebony endpin with pearl dot, the original Grover G98 tuners were worn out and replaced at one point for stylish vintage Grover imperial tuners. This is a rare excellent example with No cracks anywhere. This Guitar has a huge voice coming from it\'s early "pregnant spider" shaped body. Playabillity is excellent, and there is another century of music inside this guitar..like many of those celluloid pickguard, also this one turned to dust from contact with the case lining. Comes with its original and very solid Super 400 Lifton case. A rare change for the Archtop player.
The Fellowship Of Acoustics, Netherlands
ABOUT US
I have always been opposed to being trapped into a job eight hours a day to purchase the free time to do what I enjoy. That’s why i started the Fellowship of Acoustics. The fellowship of acoustics was founded by Rudi Bults, Guitarist and obsessed with tone and wood. The idea was offering real expertise when trading and selling the finest instruments in the world from our showroom in Bergentheim, Netherlands. Helping others find the right tools and enjoying an atmosphere that’s unhurried, honest and informative that’s my go. We are nothing like the "supermarket" style music stores, but specialize in string-things only. We are widely known for Flattop guitars but also sell electric, mandolins & banjo’s, amps, parts, and accessories. Our store has earned the reputation for being a great place to shop for the best products and service.
It is our hope that this new website - much more than a list of "gear" for sale - will serve as an example of our commitment to offering a more personal approach, a friendly atmosphere, and an ultimately more satisfying experience for our friends and customers.
If you have any questions just dial +31-523-232205 or e-mail info@thefellowshipofacoustics.com My name is Rudi Bults, and I’m always here to help out. Wherever possible, we would recommend that you visit our store and experience our instruments and service first hand. However, because of our high standards you can be confident of ordering online from us. We hope you enjoy your visit to our site, and welcome your feedback.
