Adirondack red spruce/maple. The ultimate ‘30s Gibson 18” archtop. Very nicely aged, well played but also well preserved original condition. Beautiful sunburst finish , great structural condition and superb tone and playability, slim neck and low action. Professional neck reset and refret. Original parts, original golden Grover stairstep tuners, no pickguard. Some moderate finish wear mostly to the back of the neck, some minor wears all over. One hairline top crack repaired down of the fingerboard extension. The other ultimate acoustic Gibson archtop but in a well played condition. Original but worn Geib HC. On consignment.

Originale Teile, originale vergoldete Stairstep Grovers, kein Schlagbrett. Einige moderate Spiel- und Gebrauchsspuren, vorwiegend an der Halsrückseite. Ein reparierter Deckenhaarriss unterhalb der Griffbrettextension. Die andere ultimative akustische Gibson Archtop aber in gut gespieltem Zustand. Originaler jedoch abgenützter Geib HC. Through building their own guitars in the style of traditional American steel string guitars and through specializing in the restoration and repair of American pre-war instruments, they realized how similar these guitars were to the traditional German guitars in construction and materials.
Their new Tuebingen workshop opened in 1996. As aficionados of old American guitars, they have been creating many replicas of these wonderful instruments, authentic not only in their looks, but also in design and construction.
