Gibson The J-180 made in 2005 with a large impact of double guards!
Gibson Everly Brothers, the predecessor model of J-180, was born as an artist model of The EVERLY BROTHERS (Country Duo by brothers who played an active part in 1950S to 60s). Production was completed in 1972, but revived as J-180 in the late 1980s. After that, it gains popularity.
The J-180 is a 16-inch size smaller than the J-200. The body thickness is thinner than the J-185. The characteristic double pickguard is a very impressive model. The sound is impressive with a firm and thick bass, a cohesive midrange, the outline and a goodness. The neck is a little thin and refreshing, and it is easy to play.
It is a recommended model for those who are looking for a powerful stroke sound!
