1989 Gibson U2 SC - Silver " Show Case Edition" 1 of 200
This is one of Gibson's very rare 1989 Gibson U-2 "Showcase Edition" which were limited to only 200 pieces of each model in super clean / near mint condition! Nearly untouched, no visible playwear, the original factory frets are like brandnew. This was Gibsons version of a "Super-Strat" to compete with Charvel, Jackson, Kramer and all those other 80s axes. Actually an very good sounding instrument with 3x OBL humbuckers, which can be selected individually by an mini-switch and each PU can be switched to single-coil mode with a Push/Pull pot. Fantastic craftsmanship and only the best available componets have been used! Schaller/Floyd rose trem, OBL-PUs and set-neck construction! Comes in it´s original brown Gibson hardshell case with pink interior, hangtag, allen-key tools and the original Gibson waranty card.
