So maybe you play in a band and your guitar player is still hauling that Marshall 4 x 12 cabinet around after all these years. It's powered by an ADA MP-1 preamp and an old Peavey CS 1000 power amp. It's louder than all living hell and he plays so fast, he sounds like a bumblebee on a Monster energy drink. It's quite maddening and you're tired of blood running down your neck from your ears.

Your response? Bring this aural leviathan to the next practice and prepare for battle. A couple of Ampeg 8 x 10 cabs wouldn't hurt, but with this bass, your rig will be converted into a Philistene-slaying, direct punch in the mouth and once you start rumbling on the low B string, all the Marshalls in the world won't mean squat. Have no mercy- it has to be total defeat for the busy bumblebee and I promise, your drummer will both agree and understand...

This L-2500-5 is a well-oiled, American-made machine. It plays flawlessly and rivals our Musicman Bongo in terms of having a strong and tight B string. There are some light surface scratches on the front and back, but they are fairly hard to see unless you turn the bass into the reflection of an overhead light. We're also happy this is a left-handed version for our lefty bass brothers- every one we get goes away!

The bass has been detailed, set up for optimal playability and checked for proper functions. We scrubbed and vacuumed the case as well to insure no funky odors or surprises pop up when you open the case for the first time.
