Greenfield / GF Grand Fingerstyle / Guitar

Michael Greenfield was playing music professionally in the 1970s, and began setting up and repairing electric guitars. By the 1990s, this evolved into a career repairing and restoring vintage and antique guitars. Having had the opportunity to examine so many of those iconic pre-war and early 20th century instruments was an invaluable education. He was able to examine, measure, play and hear all those wonderful guitars! He then also learned of the issues that typically need service down the road, which he has engineered out of his own instruments. Maintaining the guitars of so many musicians nurtured his understanding of how to address the needs of players with varied repertoire, styles and musical needs. This Custom GF Adirondack  Grand Concert model is first of all in a very clean condition except for three small dings in the finish on the top and light wear on the neck, making the condition very good. The GF is slightly larger than an OM, an extremely versatile grand concert size guitar. It's quick to respond to even the lightest touch and it lends itself well to many different styles of music. It has a very focused yet open sound with a tight responsive bass, transparent mids and thick, clear, ringing highs. While primarily a fingerstyle guitar, it is also superb for light strumming, acoustic jazz and even classical repertoire. Includes original Ameritage hardshell case and a Greenfield carbon case. Current retail value for a new Michale Greenfield GF Adirondack is around €16.500.  Specifications Body Shape: Grand Auditorium with Florentine cutaway Finish: Thin nitrocellulose Dimensions: Lower bout : 39 cm / 15.375” Depth        :11 cm / 4.375” Body Material: Indian Rosewood Top Material: Adirondack Spruce Lefty No Body Details: Single line simple body purfling, Paua and spalted Beech rosette, Florentine cutaway Neck Material: Mahogany Neck Profile: Straight edge C Fingerboard Material: Ebony Fingerboard Radius: 16'' - 20'' Neck Details: Side dot inlay, Ebony peghead overlay, no overlay on the back, magnetic trussrod cover,  bone nut Nutwidth: 45,65 mm 1 51/64'' Scale Length: 650 mm 25 19/32''  String spacing: 55,6 mm 2 3/16'' Bridge: Ebony Tuners: Gotoh 510z Gold with Ebony knobs Pickup K&K pure mini Condition: Very Good Cosmetic Condition: Has three small dings on the top, lower bout and one on the upper bout. ABOUT US

I have always been opposed to being trapped into a job eight hours a day to purchase the free time to do what I enjoy. That’s why i started the Fellowship of Acoustics. The fellowship of acoustics was founded by Rudi Bults, Guitarist and obsessed with tone and wood. The idea was offering real expertise when trading and selling the finest instruments in the world from our showroom in Bergentheim, Netherlands. Helping others find the right tools and enjoying an atmosphere that’s unhurried, honest and informative that’s my go. We are nothing like the "supermarket" style music stores, but specialize in string-things only. We are widely known for Flattop guitars but also sell electric, mandolins & banjo’s, amps, parts, and accessories. Our store has earned the reputation for being a great place to shop for the best products and service.
It is our hope that this new website - much more than a list of "gear" for sale - will serve as an example of our commitment to offering a more personal approach, a friendly atmosphere, and an ultimately more satisfying experience for our friends and customers.
If you have any questions just dial +31-523-232205 or e-mail info@thefellowshipofacoustics.com My name is Rudi Bults, and I’m always here to help out. Wherever possible, we would recommend that you visit our store and experience our instruments and service first hand. However, because of our high standards you can be confident of ordering online from us. We hope you enjoy your visit to our site, and welcome your feedback.
