Gretsch / 6131 Jet Firebord / 1956 / Oriental Red / Guitar

This is the most beautiful & all original example of an early Jet Firebird we have ever had in our 28 years in biz, its Oriental Red finish top is incredibly clean other than some weather checking, its Black finished back & neck have only slight play wear still retaining most of its original finish, its 2 D’Armond pickups are super punchy & have that fantastic brittle tone one can only hope for from these rare solid bodied Gretsches, its factory pearloid Block inlaid fingerboard is clean with its original frets have only slight wear, its Black pickgard finishes her off perfectly, all chrome hardware, its open back tuners work quite well, its Melita Bridge holds a nice intonation & its “G” cutout tailpiece complete its look, its label inside is still very legible & its got untouched electronics, just in from its last 30+ year ownership, overall its exceptionally clean & one of the most original & best Jet Firebirds in the World, she comes with its original polka dot gray hard case.
