Gretsch 6122 Country Gentleman ‘66
Oh my! This beautiful Gretsch features (apart from s/n on head plate) all Harrison unique spec’s. Beautiful dark mahogany stain finish (original), FilterTrone p/u’s in both positions (Neck is re-issue. Original Super’Tron in the case), dual mute with red felt, Grover imperials tuners (buttons re-issue. Original kidney Grovers in the Case), plain pickguard with Gretsch logo without model's name
Old overspray at heel of the neck.
Unlike most Gretsches from this period the binding is just fine.
Also worth mentioning is that this is the last year before Gretsch was bought by Baldwin organs (Gretsch “CBS syndrome”).
