A true Gentleman’s guitar, the well-esteemed & quite rare Gretsch G6122 Country Classic II 1963 Reissue “Custom Edition” is a semi-hollowbody masterpiece favored by legendary Beatle George Harrison. This Walnut-colored guitar features a plethora of innovative appointments, including a laminated maple body with a thin C-profile three-piece laminated maple neck and a smooth ebony fingerboard. Its got all gold hardware & a matching Gold Lucite pickgard. It took decades for Fred Gretsch to make copies of what people wanted to buy & not a modern featured Gent. This Limited Run has all Harrison period features including a pair of classic Filter’Tron pickups, a set of fancy Grover Imperial Tuners w/stairstep buttons producing a true twangy British Invasion style tone, along with a Gretsch Bigsby vibrato w/a flat handle, down to the "Double Flip Mutes" w/red felt pads...just awesome, its truly near mint & comes w/tons of case candy & its original Certificate all in its vintage style in its original Black tolex hard case.
