This is something you really do not come across every day…  This is a STUNNING and UNPLAYED 2007 USA Custom Shop Gretsch White Falcon model G6136CST with original case, tags, inspection card etc at an abosulte bargain price…

This is the model that is hand made by Gretsch Custom Shop in the USA to replicate as close as possible the orignal 50’s White Falcon. It has a US price of $12,500 and at todays excange rate, by the time you got one over here, after paying duties, taxes, VAT etc you would probably be looking at close to £15k!

You can see it on Gretsch's website here

Why is it so reasonably priced? Well in the time it has sat in its case, unused and unplayed for nearly 10 years there has been some case bleed from the purple lining (see photos) This is only really visible on the sides and on the back of the neck. There is also what looks like a laquer crack on the back of the neck for around 12cm and the wooden base of the bridge has slightly bled into the top (again, see pictures). Aside from that, it is mint and totally unused.

Yes, this is totally unbeleivable but it is part of an entire collection of high end guitars that we have just bought from a collector in mainland Europe who purchased them all during the late 90’s early 2000’s and NEVER PLAYED THEM!! They are true, closet classics in near MINT condition (apart from the bleed marks mentioned above) and have already got 10 odd vintage years on them.

As this has spent it’s entire time inside it’s case there is NO fading and NO wall hanger or stand marks. Even the gold looks amost as new and is in amazing condition. Please have a look at the many pictures.

The woodwork is perfect, ther are no dings, dongs or worming or anything else anywhere on it at all. Apart from the bleed marks, it really does look pretty much brand new - you just have to take a deep breath and gasp when you open the case...

It is impeccably set up, plays and sounds perfect. There is a good reason these cost so much and when you see these close up and personal you can clearly see why this is...

These amazing, hand built guitars have a steep suggested selling price and when you look at them you can see the incredible workmanship that has gone into them and you can see exactly what you are paying so much for. It really is a thing of beauty - have a look.
