Find another one like this! Not only is she quite rare, she's a hell of an acoustic. This is a 2003 (Corona-made) Guild D-40CE dreadnought acoustic guitar with its original hardshell case. The Guild D-40CE is an American-made single cutaway dreadnought electro-acoustic guitar. It is a D-40C with a built-in pickup. The D-40CE has been around since at least the 1970's but a new electro-acoustic version was introduced in 2003 (during the Fender era of ownership). This guitar is in good condition. It has a few dings in the back of the lower bout that are pure cosmetic. There's some gogreous checking taking place as we speak! The 2003 D-40CE has a Fishman Prefix Pro Blend system with a miniature condenser microphone mounted on the underside of the preamp's chassis. The guitar is made with Mahogany back & sides, a Spruce top, single cutaway, Rosewood fretboard & Grover tuners. See measurement specs below.
