The Guild JF-55 was introduced in 1989 and discontinued in 2001 when the Westerly factory closed. The JF-55 was the top of the line jumbo with a spruce top, rosewood back and sides and a 3-piece South American Mahogany neck.
White binding on the top and back with deluxe pearl inlay on the headstock. The bound ebony fingerboard had block inlays with abalone wedges. The bridge pins had abalone dots.
Gold tuners & scalloped bracing.
Natural high gloss finish.
