Herbert Fritz Knoff's full double
[overview]
H.F. Knoff (Knopf) F/B ♭ Fuldable horn. 11.9 miribore, yellow brassbell. Medium Bellslot. Low brass (no lacquer). Accessories: Semi -hard case containing PAXMAN logo (ring for rucksack straps) seems to be a 1960s production.
[situation]
A mild dent correction mark on the outer periphery of the bell torso. Because of the low brass, dullness of the surface, spots, etc. are found overall. There is no corrosion or rust. Cleaning inside and exterior and all rotary disassembly, all tube maintenance and adjustment.
* The appearance changes over time because of the low brass specification. Please understand that the condition of the actual thing is slightly different from the time of photography, and purchase and order. In addition, the surface is discolored and the gloss disappears, and the so -called oxide film is covered with the oxide film, not only makes red rust and dirt on the surface, but also adds to the tone.
[feature]
A classic full double horn that became the source of the laid out of the Knopf (Knoff) type horn. All the reinforcement tubes of each subdivision tube are also made of yellow brass. The natural blowing comfort and the soft and bright sound are attractive.
