Hagstrom / H8 / 8-string Bass / 1967 / 3-tone Sunburst / Bass

1967 Hagstrom H8 - 8-String Bass - Sunburst

The first 8-string basses where made by Hagstrom in 1967-69 (total = 2249). Many famous players used a 8-string bass such as John Entwistle (The Who), John Paul Johnes (Led Zeppelin) Jeff Amet (Pearl Jam), Mike Rutehrford (Genesis), Noel Redding (J.Hendrix), even Jimi Hendrix used the Hagstrom H8 himself on Electric Ladyland, on the songs "1983," and "Burning of the Midnight Lamp." This bass is all original and in excellent condition. Everything works fine, the frets are original and still in great shape. Comes in its original grey chip-board case.
