Harmony / H835 / 1971 / Sunburst / Stringed Instrument
The Harmony H35/H835 found itself apart of a very poignant time in rock n' roll history. Played both live and in the studio by John Paul Jones of Led Zeppelin, this budget electric mandolin became one of the most underrated folk instruments to date. Our 1971 Harmony H835 "Batwing" Electric Mandolin has a laminated Maple body, Maple neck and Rosewood fingerboard. The shape is absolutely elegant. The H835 is equipped with a single DeArmond gold foil "Gold Tone" pickup. The model is labeled an H35 stamped in its body, though the model was re-named this very year, 1971, as an H835. Our Harmony electric mandolin comes with its original softshell case and original mandolin manual.
