Fabulous Antique Natural finish over a solid carved Spruce top w/an amazingly beautiful carved “Fiddleback” maple back, sides & neck, equipped w/a Floating pickup for its best natural tones w/a Super 400 inlaid ebony fingerboard, dimensions similar in concept to the Gibson L-4C, the Sweet 16 is just slightly shallower in depth which allows for very comfortable holdability and is noteworthy for matching its 16 body w/a full 25 1/2" L-5 scale, a combination virtually unique in either contemporary or vintage archtop designs, the Heritage Guitar Company is one of the most experienced guitar makers in the biz & still operates from the original Gibson factory in Kalamazoo, this 20 year old specimen has aged perfectly & is very hard to beat for any price, she is exceptionally clean & comes with its original hard case.
