Handbuilt in Kalamazoo by former Gibson artisans in the old Gibson plant, the Eagle is the workhorse of the Heritage line. Equivalent in size to the L-5C and L-7C, the Eagle shares the same Venetian cutaway and parallel bracing. A classic single pickup jazz box, the guitar combines elegant simplicity with handsome flamed mahogany throughout.
The guitar has a clear, balanced and focused voice, with the warmth and depth you’d expect from the solid mahogany tonewood. The action is smooth and low over a gentle D profile neck with excellent original fretwork. The guitar is in a lovely condition and is fitted with a genuine Kent Armstrong Handmade Floating PAF pickup and its original hardshell case. A handmade classic and the ultimate best-buy in a true American made acoustic archtop guitar.
This model was introduced by Heritage in 1986.This guitar is 1987 and a very early model.
The Label inside is signed by four of the founding members of Heritage Guitars.Bill Page,J P Moats,Marvin Lamb and Jim Deurloo. This guitar is not just a lovely guitar to play it has a nice piece of history attached.
Case: Original hardshell case
A stunning example of craftsmanship. This is without doubt a quality “Jazz guitar” currently strung with flatwound strings that give that slinky feel and muted Jazz “Thunk.” There are almost no marks on this guitar. The acoustic sound is full and rich in harmonics, the single pickup provides an authentic jazz tone, and the electrics are all crackle free and fully functional. The case is an authentic period correct Gibson style hardcase labelled as belonging to “Bobby Cochran” – Eddie Cochran’s nephew, and singer for “Steppenwolf” – I have however not yet received any confirmation that the guitar used to be his.

POSH Guitars, UK
Philip's Old Second Hand Guitars (POSH Guitars) Has arisen not only out of my indefatigable enthusiasm for all things wooden with strings, but also from my love of music and creativity.
I firmly believe in a Creator God , who in his creativity gave us a gift. That gift being music, and in our expression of music we give voice to our passion for God.
I am not a company, but I buy guitars of a high quality, use them for a while and then sell them on. Sometimes this allows me to make a small profit, and I shift that profit on into financing the supply of quality instruments for Christian Musicians who are actively working in a recognised Church fellowship.
In this regard I'm happy to announce that Harvey Gerlitz has allowed me to distribute his Guitar Care Products in the UK, and hopefully through these establish a finance base to expand this mission.
In addition to resourcing Christian worship and creativity, 10% of any profits will be automatically passed on to financing Christian work in Africa, building orphanages to care for the victims of the AIDS epidemic there.
All items purchased will be despatched within 24 hours of received payment. Postage in the UK is by First Class postage, outside the UK it's by Air Mail.
