Hofner / 456 Archtop / 1965 / Redburst / Guitar

Ca. 1965 Höfner Model 456, redburst. Made in Germany. This guitar is all original except for one strap button. The bridge pickup was professionally rewound. We couldn't find another one with the same specs as this, so the year and model are our best guess. The guitar does actually sound quite nice and is strung with flats. The neck / body joint has given in a little in the past, but it appears stable now, the bridge has bottomed out at medium action. The wiring appears to be inverted from the factory (ie. rhythm switch is for solo setting etc.). It's a cool guitar, but due to the issues we're selling this one AS-IS, grab yourself a bargain! Weighs 2.25kg only.

It's a hidden entrance, so please don't ring random doorbells, instead call for questions and appointments during business hours (9am to 5pm CET). +41793088915.
