Höfner (Hofner) 500/1 ’64 OHSC
No Beatles guitar collection is complete without the iconic McCartney Höfner “violin” bass.
This is from ’64. The last acceptable year for Beatles guitar aficionados. After that the specs starts to differ to much from Pauls ’63.
Apart from bound neck and raised logo, this is pretty much it.
Small pick guard, small control plate, two-piece neck, staple-top P/U’s with small surround etc are typical McCartney features.
Some wear (see pictures) but overall very nice, and all original condition
