1979 Höfner 500/1 "Beatles Bass" - Sunburst incl. orig. Höfner hardshell case.
Clean 1979 Höfner 500/1 Beatles- or Violin bass, all original and in excellent condition for its age. Typical playwear and the usual weather-checking you´d expect on a 37Year old bass, except for a closed aditional strap-button hole, there are no repairs or hidden damages. Both orig. Höfner "Blade" - pickups still have the "Höfner" engraved on their PU-covers, the lighter perloid material on Pickguard and control-plate is typical for that time-period. Great sound and super playability. The tuners work fine, straight neck, trussrod works well and the action is great. Super lightweight and with its medium-size C-shaped neck, this bass is very comfortable to play. Comes in newer, original Höfner hardshell case.
