"IBANEZ" appeared as a brand for overseas exports of Hoshino Musical Instruments. Around 1973, a guitar project "THE ARTIST SERIES", which directly reflects the voices of players in a tie -up with famous musicians, was launched, and based on the body shape of "Double Cutaway", 4 digits from the following year. A wide range of models will be released as a model number. After that, in 1979, the high reputation overseas was reduced, and the AR series was announced in Japan with a triumph. The AR300, which was released in 1979, is a model that uses a beautiful flame maple with a heather eye on the top of the body. The maple neck set neck structure on the mahogany body, and the body top features a gorgeous high range and a warm medium range with a flame maple. Control is a trial sound switch of each pickup, a pick -up selectato glue switch, and a pick -up selectato glue switch. A variety of sounds with a switch that can get three kinds of sounds, phase out, coil tap, and normal humbucking. A model that can reconfirm the goodness of the original building that has built the legend. I often hear the voice, "It was expensive at the time, but I couldn't buy it recently." It is a popular model both in Japan and overseas so that it disappears from the market.
