Ibanez / Destroyer DT-155 / 1985 / Ebony / Guitar

With a guitar like this you really can’t help but wonder what this guitar has seen. Things like how much hairspray, how much spandex, or how many shows opening up for a Scorpions cover band this guitar has seen run through your head. Regardless of what it’s seen it is safe to safe THIS THING IS COOL! Here we have a made in Japan 1985 Ibanez DT-155 Destroyer. This guitar has plenty dings, dents, finish checking, and wear but all in all is a great playing and sounding guitar. All original with the exception of the back covers and input jack cover being painted black (since removed). The original triple double cream humbucker combination provides a vast variety of tone options. Recently set up for 10s and ready to rock!! Comes with a non original hardshell case.

Year: 1985.

Model: Destroyer DT-155

Serial: B853737.

Finish: Ebony.

Case: Non original hardshell case.

Weight: 9 pounds 3 ounces.

Condition: Good. Plenty of dings, dents, scratches, and finish checking. The original trem arm broke off inside the bridge, in return leaving a piece of it stuck. I'm sure if you wanted to you could remove it. The bridge functions just as it should as is, minus the use of the trem arm. Otherwise, fantastic playing and sounding.

Modifications: Back covers and input jack cover painted black at one point (has been removed). Back bridge cover missing. Otherwise original.

Comments: Cool example of an 80s Destroyer.
