Jam Pedals / Rattler And Fuzz Phrase / Paisley / Effect

With the Fuzz Phrase now no longer in production, here’s your chance to get one paired with a Rattler for maximum distortion fun. Ordered as a custom pair and finished in purple paisley. There is velcro still attached to the bottom but the pedal is in very good condition.

A word from the manufacturer about the Fuzz Phrase…

As our stock of Fuzz Phrase-compatible CV7003s is gradually depleting, we are proud to re-introduce it, celebrating its uniqueness and scarcity with point-to-point wiring housed in a luxurious leather enclosure.

The most crucial ingredient when it comes to a Germanium Fuzz pedal’s quality, sound and “clean-ability”, is transistor choice. In our experience there’s nothing quite like the CV7003, military-spec OC44 germanium transistors.

The few-and-far-between CV7003, are extremely consistent and heat-resistant, much more so than the AC128 and NKT275 transistors, placing the Fuzz Phrase in a league of its own. The CV7003’s consistency is so dependable that an external bias pot is rendered unnecessary. You are likely to never have to adjust the bias on your pedal!

Each individual transistor is measured for gain and leakage and then hand picked and matched through sound audition.

Along with the use of carbon comp resistors and tropical fish capacitors, the result is pure vintage fuzz goodness! Just mess around with the guitar volume to find the sweet spots, from clean, to rude, to devastating!

A word from the manufacturer about the Rattler…

The JAM pedals unabashed distortion monster.

As our stock of the extremely rare NOS LM308AH can- version chips is gradually depleting, we are proud to re-introduce it, celebrating its uniqueness and scarcity with point-to-point wiring, housed in a luxurious leather enclosure.

Made with carbon-comp resistors and tropical fish capacitors for those who seek that original vintage distortion sound, but with modern clarity and response, the Rattler ltd. is equally incredible with single coils as it is with humbuckers, yielding great, full-range sounds, from sweet overdrive to massive, singing distortion!

Owing its core sound to the NOS LM308AH can-version chip, the Rattler ltd. features a symmetrical clipping circuit. Its tone is smoother and a touch less hairy than the standard Rattler with the toggle-switch alternating to a lower gain-stage, giving the pedal a more open overdrive-like character, allowing you to explore less compressed and more harmonically rich textures.
