It is important that The Vibe should be primarily used with a external power supply is because of the nature of circuit. There is a constant bias current that is always on when a 1/4” cable is plugged into the input. This is necessary so that the effect is instantly on when the foot switch is engaged. If the Vibe is to be used with the battery, make sure it is new and of high quality.
Once the voltage dips below 9V, the effect will quickly weaken and stop altogether DESPITE the indicator LED still glowing!
