The Lollar Gold Foil neck pickup is a single coil pickup with unusual clarity and power. Expect crystal clear top end with lots of in-your-face harmonic overtones, and a wide dynamic range that can make a typical tube amp give up the dirt -while retaining all the detail and “3D” you expect from a Lollar. And this version has the exact size of a P-90 Soap Bar pickup: if and when you would like to try a P-90 in the neck position, the replacement will be a breeze!
The Lollar Special T bridge pickup has a rounder top end, more midrange, and more bottom end… think vintage Broadcaster vibe. Roll the tone control back a bit and get a somewhat convincing P-90/vintage humbucker tone.
Beautiful in its simplicity - limitless in its range. For nearly 60 years the single cutaway design has provided a platform for country to modern rock guitar and everything in between.
