Our cherry Sheet Music Cabinet boasts 5 easy-slide drawers for quick access and organization. Top, sides, base and drawer facings are solid cherry. Drawers feature contrasting wood pulls, while inner platforms are open-edged to facilitate convenient handling of music. The design of this piece successfully integrates traditional and contemporary stylings.

These cabinets are not imported… they are not “stapled” together and painted in factories with dirt floors. Rather, each cabinet is handcrafted one-at-a-time at John Stass’s workshop in Lewiston, Maine USA. It is Katahdin’s mission to craft heirloom quality music room furniture to meet your exact needs.

Since 1997, we have crafted music room furniture for some of Americas best known musicians and celebrities. One third of all our orders are from repeat customers. Katahdin Studio Furniture is located in Lewiston, Maine, USA. Each of our pieces is made here one at a time in a historic textile mill building.

Featuring handcrafted Made in Maine furnishings influenced by Shaker, Arts & Crafts, and other traditional American designs. Each article has been developed with great care to balance functionality, aesthetics and value. Our pieces are primarily crafted from cherry, chosen for its stable nature, its workability and sheer beauty. Every Katahdin product is handcrafted one at a time with the most appropriate joinery methods. Finishes are hand rubbed in the tradition of fine woodworking.
