A truly original cabinet designed and crafted by John Stass in his studio at the Hill Mill in Lewiston, Maine. It is influenced by Scandinavian and Japanese styling. The V-shaped cabinet body enclosed by 2 panel doors immediately commands attention and comment. The graceful stand supports the cabinet in such a way as to suggest one is looking at a piece of sculpture. The interior of the cabinet has two adjustable shelves. Ideal for displaying a collection on pottery and other fine items.

Each article has been developed with great care to balance functionality, aesthetics and value. Our pieces are primarily crafted from cherry, chosen for its stable nature, its workability and sheer beauty. Every Katahdin product is handcrafted one at a time with the most appropriate joinery methods. Finishes are hand rubbed in the tradition of fine woodworking.
