Kay / K141 STRATOTONE / 1953 / Copper’burst Finish / Guitar

There are not many guitars nor basses that make me smile as their original idea was so simple & impressive. This is truly is 1 of the 1st neck thru body electric guitars. Its Copper’burst finish is in excellent overall condition having a good amount of neck finish wear like an all Gold Les Paul Std. Its got a nickel covered single coil pickup w/a groovy single layer white pickgard & surround w/a simple Volume Knob w/a push on/off tone selector switch like an EB-2 Bass. Its unbound/dot rosewood neck is a frickin real fatty ! Its frets are worn but usable. Its has c.1964 Kluson 3-in-line tuners that work perfectly. This is a very early example w/its cord coming out the treble side of its body. This is truly excellent & comes w/a matching minty brown gator soft case.
