Kay-Tone / 1944 Count / 1944 / Guitar

Very Good condition, the Kay-Tone line of guitars was built in Sweden by Levin, check them out here. This example plays and sounds great thanks to a neck reset and refret (at which time some digs in the fingerboard also was filled), it once had a pickup attached in neck position that has left a couple of plugged screw holes in the top and neck extension (where a small piece of binding has been replaced), and a side jack (now plugged), repro pickguard with relocated bracket, minor repaired mid seam separation under the tailpiece, otherwise crack free, three small plugged screw holes in the back near the side on the upper bout (of unknown cause), plugged holes in the headstock (probably served as a hanger once), original hard shell case with a missing neck pocket stop, a rare guitar with a strong archtop sound!

In the store there is a constantly changing exhibition of stringed instruments from all ages and manufacturers, some call it a museum where everything is for sale.
