This is a very cool Lakland Skyline 5 String Bass made in recent years has got to be 1 of the best 55-94 type basses made overseas. Its got a stunning Cherry’burst finish over a beautiful figured Maple top. Its maple neck is very playable. The 55-02 has an active punch that will drive your sound clearly through any mix, with ‘best in class’ tonality for a versatile and refined fit for any playing situation. The LH3 pickups have been replaced w/some cool Bartolini’s. The neck is the same 35” scale, profile and spec as the USA series 55-94 which has won over legions of professionals because of its great feel, string spacing and most importantly, a B string with tight punchy clarity that lives with the other 4 strings in perfect harmony. She’s quite excellent overall & comes w/a nice gig bag.
