1969 Laney Supergroup MK1 - 100Watt Tubehead
All original and in excellent condition. We´ve just got it checked, tube-changed and adjusted, ...great sounding amp! Sounds like an Marshall Plexi but with a bit more gain! You nail pretty much the early Black Sabbath Sound. Rumour goes, that the Soupergroup has been born on request by Tomi Iommy, who wanted the Plexi-Sound but refused to play Marshall amps(?). Fact is, that this Laney is pretty much a copy of a late 60´s Marshall using Partridge transformers.
