Lars Rasmussen Guitars / Size 5 / Natural / Guitar
This is my smallest guitar inspired by Martin's classic "size 5". This is a so-called "Third" guitar tuned like a regular guitar - but a minor third up as if a capo was put on the third fret. I have also built this model as a tenor guitar with very good results.

Guitars
Each Rasmussen guitar is unique. First, because the wood is wood and need to be adapted for that particular bitens tone, stiffness and weight, and partly because the guitar is built specifically for the customer who ordered it.
I currently have six standard models each with a style and decoration, which I personally prefer. These are models that I have produced for some years now and the number increase steadily as I pick up new influences, or see a need for a new model.
To start building an instrument for you, I have to know what type of music you play, and have a clear picture of the contexts in which you plan to use the guitar.
Usually customers come to visit my shop where we can discuss your needs and wants selecting wood.
Prices & Options
I build my guitars entirely by hand and I am therefore very flexible when it comes to influencing the performance of the instrument. Below is information on the specifications that are standard and modifications from those discussed with me personally.
Price (all models): 29 500 SEK / € 3100
The price includes the base and tearing of the Honduras-mahogany or East Indian rosewood.
Top of cedar, Sitka spruce, Engelmann spruce, or European spruce.
Dimensions of the neck width and profile are determined based on customer requirements. Fingerboard and bridge are available in either ebony or Brazilian rosewood, but I usually recommend to have the fretboard of ebony and the bridge of rosewood. Standard Mechanics is Waverly.
