The De Luxe was the top of the line archtop in Levins Production between 1937-1957. The De Luxe is recognised by it's big and powerfull acoustic sound and the top of the line craftsmanship. Specifications:
• 475mm 18.7 inches wide
• Ebony fretboard
• Mahogny neck
• Ebony bridge
• Gold plated parts
• Walnut, mahogny or maple back and sides
• Hand carved top and back.
• Weight ≈ 2.7 kilos
Levin started making guitars year 1900 and continued to make guitars until 1980. They made about 700.000 instruments and hundreds of different models, from beginner to high end models. All Levins were handcrafted with solid tops in Sweden. At their peak in the late 60's, 70% of the production went on export under the name Goya.
