Lowden F-35 Cuban-Adirondack LEFTY (new) Case, COA

It's not often that a Cuban-Adirondack Lefty from this high quality is offered. The guitar was custom made but  the order at Lowden was cancelled, and Lowden offered it to us. Completely new and now at a special price! Basis for this guitar is perhaps the rarest wood on the planet, Ancient Cuban Mahogany, cut somewhere back in the 1800's, George obtained the woods from a furniture restorer in London who gave him a call telling him he found some old genuine Reclaimed Cuban Mahogany perfect for Guitars. Reclaimed means it's used before for another purpose. Tone wise Cuban is 'heaven on earth' and on top of that it is more scarce than any other wood in the world. Superb dynamics, premium warmth and heavenly Tones combine to a 'must have' feel. Cuban simply steps up when other wood holds back. 

This is quite a unique chance to obtain a guitar made of wood that matured for over 100 to 120 years, and it combines very well with Adirondack spruce. Other features include 5 piece Mahogany neck with Walnut and Rosewood slices, C shape neck profile, ebony Fingerboard bound with ebony and matching Maple Purflings, the body is bound in figured maple with Sycamore & rosewood & maple purflings, the soundhole shows a Colorful abalone purfling. The tuning machines are Gold Gotoh 510 with genuine handmade Ebony buttons. The Heelcap is matching ebony. The nut is 45.6 mmm (1 25/32"),  650mm (25.5") scale length and a generous 56mm stringspacing at the bridge. The "F" model is what you may call Lowden's OM+ model, in size similar, but a a bit deeper body, The ancient Cuban is very responsive especially in the combination with Adirondack and one of the most, but also- most expensive wood combination available from Lowden. Most suitable for Fingerstyle, flatpicking and strumming, the balance is exception, the power overwhelming and the clarity piano-like. I'm sure you find this combination- like me - magical and unique. The workmanship is superb and Perfect to the last detail. Comes with Certificate and OHC (original Hard Case).
