Lowden O-12 12 string cutaway features Honduras mahogany back and sides and Sitka spruce top. The bookmatched mahogany & sitka spruce combination provides a warm yet bright enough tonal quality that is best described as 'typical Lowden' rich, deep, crisp and powerful and makes this guitar to one of the most impressive 12 string guitars on the planet. The body-woods are paired to a five piece mahogany & rosewood neck, with ebony fingerboard, Rosewood headstock fascia, Gotoh 503 tuners with Ebony buttons, tropical rosewood bridge, 650mm scale length, 48mm Width at the nut and 60mm string-spacing that make this 12 string to a comfortable playing partner that will allow for 12 string fingerstyle also. It measures 16 2/3" at the lower bout, that provides the power, wonderful nuance and magic chime that make Lowden 12 string so different from any other guitar. This guitar is used and it shows, there is lots of play-wear, an extra pickguard above the soundhole, a double tape on the headstock were the tuner was, we left it there, you might want to use i again, but it's removable. Structurally the guitar is sound and it doesn't show cracks and is technically in very good condition. It's used professionally and copper wire connected through the strings is for grounding the Highlander pickup. (There is a simpler, and much nicer solution) Also the case is made suitable to carry a stand on the outside. All in all a mighty fine players Lowden guitar, very similar to the Lowden O-22c, that if purchased new from Lowden would sell in this outfit just below €4000,00.

The fellowship of acoustics was founded by Rudi Bults, Guitarist and obsessed with tone and wood.
