Bought new in April, and still in Like New and dead mint condition, but upgraded to a F-50C! The 32 and 25 were often referred to as the ultimate Lowden. Nowadays with the many more new models and available woods it's no longer possible to say which would be the ultimate Lowden, but the 32 has bags of character and is definitely another guitar then the cedar topped 25 model despite both have a rosewood back and sides. Both come with a warm and rich, full-bodied powerful tone combined to that intriguing Celtic Piano like clarity. But the spruce topped 32 model is a tadd different, with typical spruce clarity, a big bass end, but very full and rich, tight rather than boomy, loves to be strummed, but also wants to be plucked or picked, when each note distinctly separates from the other. Great balance comes standard. This 0-32C features a spruce top, rosewood back and sides with maple /walnut/rosewood/mahogany purfling and rosewood/maple/walnut/mahogany rosette, Rosewood bridge, 5-piece mahogany/rosewood neck with ebony fretboard, gotoh Gold/ebony 510 tuners. The ‘O’ is the mostly unchanged since the mid 1970’s. 45mm neck width, 650mm scale, approx 56 mm string-spacing at the bridge. It is the largest size and is sought after for its imposing bass overwhelming mids, clear and bright trebles and Piano like overtones, it is widely known to be a perfect fingerstyle guitar because of it's great balance and unique character, finger-stylist that seek open tuning find this guitar one of the best choices.
