Rare Pre-owned Mastergrade Lowden O-50 series with lots of custom options, including: Flame Maple 5 piece neck, Inlaypackage II, Adirondack Spruce top and Cocobolo back and sides, included also is AER AK15 multisource pickup. Every 50 series is Basically a unique and one of a kind Lowden Guitar made of Mastergrade wood. A work of art made with passion and dedication, Every Certificate says ‘a thing of beauty is a joy forever’… AAAAA quality wood is reserved for the 50 series only. Lowden will bias the Dolphin bracing of their tops towards optimum vibration and sound quality, creating a Sound-Quality you can only imagine in your wildest dreams. Features include, Ebony Fingerboard bound with Ebony and matched with maple purflings, Figured Maple body binding, Mahogany-Maple-Rosewood purfling, Figured Koa rosette with abalone detailing, Tropical rosewood bridge, ebony heelcap, matching the back of the headstock, Gold Gotoh 510 tuners with Ebony buttons. The soundhole and fingerboard ends are different from standard Lowden guitars to set these super-Lowdens apart from standard Lowden guitars. The guitar features a standard 45mm (1.3/4") width at the nut and 650mm (25.5") scale. String spacing at the saddle is a comfortable 57mm.
The tone is superb in every way, impressive and balanced from the low bass to the strong and rounded treble strings. I have always been opposed to being trapped into a job eight hours a day to purchase the free time to do what I enjoy. That’s why i started the Fellowship of Acoustics. The fellowship of acoustics was founded by Rudi Bults, Guitarist and obsessed with tone and wood.
