Mint condition 2011 Lowden O-50 Myrtle wood & Adirondack, a great and remarkable sounding guitar we traded from one of our French customers who simply found the guitar to big. The tone of Myrtle & Adirondack is just a bit brighter compared to Indian rosewood and is between Koa and Rosewood, very special. The ‘50’ SERIES was introduced in 2006 to answer the demand for customization and to offer the choice from Lowden’s Reserve Selection of Master Grade tone-woods. ‘50’ series are basically master-made one of a kind Lowdens, made with the help guidance of George, himself. This O-50 features AAAAA Mastergrade tonewoods, starting with beautifully gained Myrtle wood back and sides and perfectly grained Adirondack Spruce on top, 5 piece Mahogany and Rosewood neck, Flamed Tasmanian Blackwood bound body with Rosewood Maple and mahogany purflings, ebony bound fingerboard sided with maple purfling, ebony headstock veneer on top and back of the headstock, and matching heelcap, Gotoh 510 gold tuners with ebony knobs, the soundhole shows a Colourful abalone purfling and a centre made of Flamed Tasmanian blackwood, Rosewood bridge, 650mm scale length, 45mm width at the nut and 56mm fingerspacing at the bridge. I have always been opposed to being trapped into a job eight hours a day to purchase the free time to do what I enjoy. That’s why i started the Fellowship of Acoustics. The fellowship of acoustics was founded by Rudi Bults, Guitarist and obsessed with tone and wood.
