Lowden / S25 Indian Rosewood Cedar / Guitar

Crafted from premium materials, the S25 features a cedar soundboard, known for its warmth and dynamic range, paired with rosewood back and sides that contribute to its deep, resonant sound. This combination provides a full-bodied tonal palette that is not only powerful but also complex, making it suitable for everything from percussive strumming to intricate fingerpicking. The S25’s construction also includes a stunning rosette made from rosewood, sycamore, walnut, and mahogany, complemented by mahogany binding and purfling, adding to its aesthetic appeal. George Lowden himself noted that while the S25 is often considered a quintessential Lowden guitar, its character and playability are what set it apart. The design facilitates a clear and focused projection, especially in the F model, while the O version offers complexity and warmth. This makes the S25 a favorite among players looking for a guitar that can handle both flatpicking and delicate fingerstyle techniques with ease. The S25 also comes equipped with premium features, such as Gotoh SG381 gold tuners with ebony buttons, ensuring smooth tuning stability and precision. The five-piece neck, made from mahogany and rosewood, adds durability and enhances the guitar’s overall tonal quality. For those who desire a customized experience, the S25 offers various options, including left-handed configurations, cutaway designs, and different neck profiles tailored to individual preferences. As a member of the Lowden family, the S25 not only delivers exceptional sound and playability but also showcases the brand’s commitment to craftsmanship and innovation. Whether you are a seasoned performer or a passionate enthusiast, the Lowden S25 is an instrument that invites exploration and expression, making it a cherished addition to any musician’s collection.

ABOUT US

I have always been opposed to being trapped into a job eight hours a day to purchase the free time to do what I enjoy. That’s why i started the Fellowship of Acoustics. The fellowship of acoustics was founded by Rudi Bults, Guitarist and obsessed with tone and wood. The idea was offering real expertise when trading and selling the finest instruments in the world from our showroom in Bergentheim, Netherlands. Helping others find the right tools and enjoying an atmosphere that’s unhurried, honest and informative that’s my go. We are nothing like the "supermarket" style music stores, but specialize in string-things only. We are widely known for Flattop guitars but also sell electric, mandolins & banjo’s, amps, parts, and accessories. Our store has earned the reputation for being a great place to shop for the best products and service.
It is our hope that this new website - much more than a list of "gear" for sale - will serve as an example of our commitment to offering a more personal approach, a friendly atmosphere, and an ultimately more satisfying experience for our friends and customers.
If you have any questions just dial +31-523-232205 or e-mail info@thefellowshipofacoustics.com My name is Rudi Bults, and I’m always here to help out. Wherever possible, we would recommend that you visit our store and experience our instruments and service first hand. However, because of our high standards you can be confident of ordering online from us. We hope you enjoy your visit to our site, and welcome your feedback.
